ADRC Volunteer HIPAA Training

HIPAA training is required annually for all ADRC of Brown County Volunteers and Interns.

At the ADRC we take privacy seriously and hold the highest standards for protecting the information we gather and hold for you our volunteers and the consumers we serve. As ADRC volunteers you are held to these same high standards.

As a Business Associate of agencies who are required to follow the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) we are held to the same requirements of this law. One of those requirements is to provide HIPAA training for our staff, volunteers, and interns.

HIPAA Awareness Training for volunteers and interns is available here. Please click this HIPAA Volunteer Training link to download and read through the training materials.

At the end of the training there will be a link to a short test for you to take to provide proof you have read through and understand the materials. Don't be nervous you can use the training materials to take the quiz!
