|At the ADRC we take privacy seriously and hold the highest standards for protecting the information we gather and hold for you our volunteers and the consumers we serve. As ADRC volunteers you are held to these same high standards.
As a Business Associate of agencies who are required to follow the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) we are held to the same requirements of this law. This requires us to provide annual HIPAA training and policy reviews for staff, volunteers, and interns.
