Green Bay Garden Blitz

Since 2014, the Brown County UW-Extension Community Gardens Program has partnered with New Leaf Foods and local volunteers on the Green Bay Garden Blitz. This program empowers Green Bay residents to grow food and be part of a sustainable urban agricultural system by installing raised garden beds throughout the city. To date, the program has placed 476 garden beds at schools, businesses, nonprofits, and homes throughout the area, with a portion sold at a reduced rate to schools, low-income families, and the agencies serving this population.
