Caretaker Supplement

The Caretaker Supplement program is a cash benefit available to parents who are receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments and have children under age 18 in the home. In addition to receiving SSI, parents must meet the eligibility criteria for this program. Caretaker supplement benefits are $250 per month for the first eligible child and $150 per month for each additional eligible child.
