Planting for a Purpose is a program through the Brown County UW-Extension Community Gardens Program and Green Bay Packers Give Back for gardeners to plant a plot and donate fresh produce to local food pantries.

In 2018, the program also distributed free sweet potato slips for those willing to donate half of their harvest to a food pantry.
