Inventory and Analysis of Brown County Marinas, Launches, and Harbors for Watercraft Safe Refuge
In Process - Data Analysis and Inventory
Brown County Planning Commission Staff has applied for and received a Coastal Management Grant from WI Dept. of Admin (DOA) to study and inventory the existing launch, marina, and harbor facilities in the Bay of Green Bay and the Fox River. The study will determine their adequacy to shelter small watercraft during a sudden storm event. This study will also examine potential places for designation as harbors of refuge. For additional questions, please contact Devin Yoder at devin.yoder@co.brown.wi.us or (920) 448-6488.

This study is funded by the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Office for Coastal Management under the Coastal Zone Management Act, Grant #NA16NOS4190108.
