Long Term Care Information & Assistance Specialist

Full time position available to provide information, assistance, and options counseling for adults with long term care needs. Knowledge and experience working in long term care systems, including nursing homes, and with Medicaid related programs for persons who are elderly, blind or disabled is required. Ability to represent ADRC in the community through professional interaction, public speaking and participation in community advisory groups is necessary.

Bachelor's degree in social work/human services/health care or related field and two years' experience working with older adults and adults with disabilities required. Experience working with public benefit programs and bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus. Valid driver’s license and access to insured vehicle required. Benefits included.

The ADRC of Brown County works with Brown County Human Services for all it's recruiting needs. Applications must be completed using Neo-Gov Brown County's on-line system. Applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees have access to the information submitted.

You will need to create an account and select an Username and Password. Once this is set up you can build an application which will remain on file for one year. You can submit an application at anytime and using the Job Interest Cards, indicate your areas of interest. For the next 12 months after you submit this form, you will receive an email notification each time a position opens with Brown County or the ADRC of Brown County whose category matches one of the Job Interest Cards you've chosen. You will receive a reminder email in 11 months giving you an opportunity at that time to extend your notifications for another year.
