Fonferek's Glen is a 74-acre geological gem featuring a 30-foot waterfall, dolomite cliffs and stone archway. Located along Bower Creek in the Town of Ledgeview, this park also includes 30 acres of former agricultural fields that have been planted to native trees and prairie. The waterfall can be viewed from the designated use area, an easy 100-yard walk from the parking lot. The rest of the park is a natural conservancy area with dangerous conditions present including steep cliffs, falling rock and rugged terrain. Use caution when outside the designated use area.
New for 2018: an electronic gate now officially closes the park sunset. Please make sure you don't get 'locked in' after park hours!
