1. What is FoodWIse?

FoodWIse (formerly Wisconsin Nutrition Education Program or WNEP) works with community partners to develop and implement community based nutrition education programs, within a university research-based context.

  • Healthy eating
  • Balancing food and activity
  • How to keep food safe
  • Shopping and menu planning
  • Feeding young children
  • Balancing income and expenses
  • Community resources

3. How is education offered?

Through group classes and individual coaching.

4. How can I get nutrition education services?

5. What is the purpose of the Community Resource Handbook?

This handbook was developed to increase accessibility of low-cost community resources to low income families and to agencies who provide them services.

6. When is the Community Resource Handbook updated?

A new handbook is published approximately every two years. Updates were made in 2015.
