There are three options available to purchase a certified copy of a birth, death, marriage or domestic partnership record; IN PERSON, BY MAIL or via EXPEDITED SERVICE
IN-PERSON - All in-person requests are processed "while you wait" between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. We are located in Room 260 of the Brown County Northern Building, 305 E. Walnut Street, Green Bay, WI 54301. If it is not possible for you to order your copies in person, you may select from one of the two options below. NOTE: we can not accept any orders over the phone. No out-of-state resident personal checks, starter checks, or checks #1000 or less accepted. Credit/debit cards accepted for an additional fee. VISA is not accepted.
BY MAIL - There are no extra fees to order copies by mail. All of our correspondence is answered the same day it is received, therefore any request received today is mailed out today. If you need your copies sooner than that we suggest you select one of the two expedited services. Note both expedited options will cost you more money than sending your request by mail or by coming to our office in person. No out-of-state resident personal checks, starter checks, or checks #1000 or less accepted.
