Exotic Animals Education Program
Join guest presenter Jamie Kozloski, from Kingdom Animalia Exotic Animal Rescue, at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve on Saturday, July 19th at 2:00 pm. Jamie will be sharing her experiences with the over 400 exotic animals she has saved in the past seven years, as well as showcasing some of the live animals during the program. This educational and hands on program will also demonstrate the importance of native versus non-native animals and how non-native animals can have negative impacts on an ecosystem. All age groups welcome! Program Fee: $3 per person. Preregistration is required. Please call 920-448-6242 to register.

Pond Exploration Day!
Ever wonder what makes its home under the water in our Wisconsin ponds? Stop out at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve in Suamico to explore the wiggly, slimy, hoppy, scaly, and creepy crawlies of our water world! Our Naturalist will be around to help children find and identify the critters. Come to the front of the Interpretive Center anytime between 1:00pm and 3:00pm on July 27th for your chance to explore the pond. Getting wet and muddy is encouraged! Long-handled nets and buckets will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Program Fee: $2 per child. No preregistration required.
