Grounds Rentals
A grounds fee must be paid to enable you to put up a tent, chairs, etc. in any Brown County Park. Prior to the rental date, grounds renters must confirm the desired area with the Park Manager. You are allowed to erect one 12 x 12 tent or smaller with no grounds fee. Erecting a larger tent or more than one tent requires a grounds fee.

The building was built circa 1930 and provides a rustic setting with tongue and groove paneled walls and hardwood floors. The lodge is situated inside the West Shores Interpretive Center. Kiar’s Classroom provides 6 banquet tables with seating for up to 55 guests and is arranged in an ideal meeting set up with a projector and automated screen. This is a great location for your next business meeting or birthday party and arrangements for this room rental can be made directly with the staff at Barkhausen by calling 920-434-2824. Also one-hour staff presentations may be scheduled on topics ranging from reptiles and amphibians to the history of the property.

With its wonderful playground facility and nearby ball diamond, Bay Shore Park is a favorite location for family and group picnics. The Bay Shore Campgrounds are also located near the shelter buildings, making it convenient for family reunions with out of town guests. This park has two shelters available for rental, one enclosed building and one open-air shelter. The enclosed shelter is heated and has a kitchen area and fireplace. Grills are scattered throughout the park. The large grill between the enclosed and open shelter are on a first come, first serve basis.

Home of the annual Brown County Fair, the Fairgrounds are located along the Fox River and are an excellent location for large events. The Fairgrounds has two large exhibition halls available for rental, as well as several smaller barns, a horse ring, and open grounds areas perfect for festivals and small sport events.

The Fairgrounds are approved for Commercial Events, or those open to the public where fees may be charged or any type of fundraising or vending occurs. Private Functions are those events where NO fundraising, vending, or fees occur, and they are not open to the public. Rates for both commercial events and private functions are listed below.

All commercial events at the Fairgrounds are subject to a $2 per car parking fee for attendees.

Exhibition North Building: 10,000 square feet
Maximum limit is 683 persons

Exhibition South Building: 17,100 square feet
Maximum limit is 960 persons
Rental fee for private functions: $380 plus tax
Rental fee for commercial events: $700 plus tax

The beautiful overhead shelter at Lily Lake Park is perfect for wedding ceremonies, small picnics and family gatherings. Many enjoy the quiet picturesque setting at Lily Lake Park and the excellent fishing the lake offers.

Located southeast of the City of Green Bay, the secluded setting of Neshota Park is an excellent location for special gatherings and picnics. Neshota Park has a heated enclosed shelter building with a kitchen area and fireplace. Visitors also enjoy hiking along Neshota's scenic trails and playing volleyball on the adjacent court.

With its scenic setting along the Duck Creek River and spectacular playground facility, Pamperin Park provides a wonderful location for family reunions and company picnics. The historic stone pavilion contains two spacious rental halls, and with the backdrop of picturesque flower gardens and the wooden footbridge spanning the creek, the pavilion at Pamperin Park is popular for weddings and other special events. The Dance Hall is the larger of the two halls and has an impressive stone fireplace, domed stage area, and built-in serving bar. The smaller East Hall has a charming antique wooden log bar that is perfect for serving drinks and food at events. Grills are scattered throughout the park. There is one large grill next to the East Hall.

Option #1 includes four lengths of white icicle lighting hanging from the center of the Dance Hall diagonally to the side walls. The center is the highest point with two swags per length. The rental cost for option #1 is $40 and includes set up prior to arrival and take down after. Rental Fee: 2 hours for $75
Rental Dates Available: May 1 - October 31
Add to the outdoor beauty of Pamperin Park with the use of our arbor. To meet your decorating needs dress the arbor with flowers, tolling, lace, burlap, etc. Park staff is responsible for the placement and removal of the arbor. We will need to know what grounds area you are looking to use with the arbor (click here for Grounds
map).

Pamperin Park Garden Chairs - Click here for photo!
Pamperin Park has 200 garden chairs available for rent at $1.50 each plus tax. Please note that garden chairs must be rented out in groups of 25. Outside use requires an additional grounds fee (gazebo does not require grounds fee). The renter is responsible for setting up the chairs and returning them to the designated area. Renters will be asked for a beginning and ending time for reserving these chairs. If chairs are not returned to the designated areas at the designated time, the renter will be charged the time it takes to return the chairs. Any damaged chairs will be replaced by Park Department and the renter will be charged for the replacement including all additional costs of replacement such as handling, shipping, and time of Brown County staff.

Pamperin Park has two tents available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. Tents are 10 x 10. Park staff will put them up and take them down. Each tent rents for $40 plus tax. The public is allowed to erect one 12 x 12 tent or smaller with no grounds fee. Erecting a larger tent or both 10 x 10 tents would require a grounds fee.

Regarding rental of Grounds and Garden Areas at Pamperin Park (click here for Grounds map):
Any group wanting to designate an area in the park with tents, chairs, tables, archways, fencing, etc. must pay a Grounds Fee to rent the particular desired area. Prior to the rental date, customer must confirm the exact area they would like to reserve with the Park Manager. The Garden Area with the historic stone water fountain (between the creek and the Dance Hall) may be rented by paying a Grounds Fee, and is available to Dance Hall renters only. In other words, to rent this Garden Area, you must also rent the Dance Hall. If the Dance Hall is already rented by another customer, the Garden Area is not available for rental.

Pamperin Park has two grills available for event rental. They are 2’ x 5’ in size and rent for $40 each plus tax.

The Reforestation Camp has two rental shelter buildings available for group functions. The Pines Shelter is located by the Lower Parking Lot across the street from the NEW Zoo entrance. A playground, baseball diamond, volleyball court, and fishing lake are also located next to the Picnic Shelter. The Lodge at the Camp is located by the Upper Parking Lot (adjacent to the new and exciting Adventure Course), with just a short walk down the path to the NEW Zoo entrance. The Lodge overlooks a beautiful wooded area, with windows all along the back side and doors opening out onto a patio area with tables and a grill for cook-outs. The Lodge also has kitchen facilities and a fireplace at either end of the hall. It is air conditioned during the summer. During the winter months, only a portion of the Lodge is available as a Meeting Room, while the rest of the building stays open as a warming area for cross country skiers and snowmobilers.

Seating Capacity: 160 (Maximum limit is 192)

Rental Dates Available: The Lodge has a dividing wall and during December 1 - March 31 a portion of the facility can be rented. The rest of the building is open to the public as a warming shelter during this time.

This 32-acre park is located in a rural setting on the Branch River and has scenic wooded picnic areas complete with grills and picnic tables. Way-Morr Park's rental shelter overlooks river which flows through the middle of the park. The shelter is also right next to a wonderful children's playground area, making it a popular choice for family reunions and other functions. The shelter has a dividing wall so that either half or all of the building can be rented for functions.
