Many of the most heavily-used map layers and land record products are available for viewing inside your web browser free of charge.
GIS Map Viewer
How to use the GIS Map Viewer:
- Use your mouse wheel to zoom in. As you zoom in, additional map layers including detailed parcels will become visible.
- Choose from a variety of base maps from the upper right drop-down boxes including aerial photography from various years, streets and parcels, and environmental map layers such as topography and wetlands.
- Using the "layers" list in the upper left, you can overlay additional map layers including voting information, administrative boundaries, and flood mapping.
- The "Search" button allows you to enter a Parcel ID, Address, Landmark. The map will zoom to the results of your query.
- With the "Identify" button, you first choose a map layer to identify (parcels are the default but you can choose others using the drop-down list). Then, simply click on the map to bring up additional information about the map feature you clicked on.
- With "Measure" you can measure distance (the default) or choose to measure Area (in square footage and acreage) or click the map to get coordinates (in County Coordinates and Lat-Lon).
- Printing allows you to choose between 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17" page sizes, portrait or landscape. You can export your print to PDF or other graphic, or send directly to your printer.
- The "Tools" button in the far-upper right has additional functions that you will find useful.
