Adventure Kayaking Program
Hosted by Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve Park
*An adventure to remember*
We offer many different trips for the beginner, intermediate and more advance paddler. With an emphasis on fun and safety, our trips range from a leisurely scenic paddle to challenging ones in more exposed areas.

Our adventures range from first-time recreational lessons to sessions that fine-tune your existing skills. Space is limited to 8 participants per trip.

Exploring The Natural World
Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 9am-11:30am
This session will introduce you to kayaks and the essential tools of kayaking. We will spend our time enjoying the silent sport of kayaking while exploring shorelines and scenery in a new and exciting way. The program is designed for all skill levels. Meet at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve.

Recreational Kayaking
Friday, June 5, 2015 from 1pm-4pm & Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 3pm-6pm
These instructional lessons cover the characteristics of different boats and paddles, boat and paddle handling, safety and rescue and general comfort on the water. *Many locations to choose from.

A non-refundable program fee of $40/person and $25/child (16 & under) will be assessed at the time of reservation. Most trips can be arranged around the weather (if it’s too windy on a larger body of water we can seek shelter on a river or small lake). If the program is canceled due to safety and weather concerns a full refund will be provided.

**Registration is required by calling 920-448-6242**

Space is limited and trips will fill up quickly

Everyone joining will be required to fill out a waiver and understand the inherent risk involved with this paddling sport. Our guides are properly training through the American Canoe Association as well as first aid and CPR certified. Our #1 priority is safety and you’ll notice it on the water!
