The Register in Probate assists the judiciary and public by handling estates, guardianships, trusts and involuntary commitments. Staff duties include: maintaining court files, reviewing all protective placements and guardianships annually, appointing temporary guardians, holding pretrials and deciding cases, and advising the public and attorneys as to practices and procedures.
