Family Living
| | | Family Living Programs respond to community needs with research-based education and partnerships that support Brown County families and communities. Program direction is based upon local needs assessment. In addition to strengthening community capacity, family living programs positively impact children and families in the following ways: - Create strong families that serve as the foundation for community live by enhancing family relationships, parenting, child development, and community institutions that promote family well-being.
- Promote healthy, well-nourished families as they learn to manage food dollars, plan nutritious meals, and purchase, prepare and serve food that is safe to eat.
- Help families meet future needs while keeping pace with day-to-day expenses, and addressing the basics of earning, spending, saving, investing, health care, elder care, and housing issues.
